I went from an easy, hurried, low-maintenance facial cleaning ritual to trying out the Asian 10 step skincare routine. Being raised in New York City has damaged and polluted my skin; I'm now repairing and focusing on anti-aging.
I want to buy and use products from a broad number of brands, I didn't just want to stick with one brand, I shopped around and compared all. I will try to write reviews each month, one which will be a list my skincare routine products, sharing my experiences on each product.

When I got the spoiler email, I was so excited, I saw pink roses!!!

The first thing that caught my attention was the red make-up bag. Just in time for Valentine's Day. Sadly, I didn't get the Skinfood Rose Essence Lip Balm to match with the shades of red and pink.
  1. Anskin Remodeling Powder Mask - it's a huge bag and the modeling activator solution is suppose to go in hand with this huge product. My only concern is that the activator bag doesn't have a seal so you can only mix it with the powder mask during your one usage. This is how the good marketing skills of Beauteque get you-haha. It makes you "want-to" purchase the modeling activator if you like it the first time. I still haven't used the modeling powder mask from the September 2015 BB bag because I'm a bit scared to use it because it might be messy. This huge amount of product which came in this month urges me to open those bags.
  2. Anskin Ultimate Solution Modeling Activator - just a booster add-on for the modeling powder mask.
  3. Scinic Honey/Banana Cleansing Foam (the skincare product) - I saw the past spoilers and was like I can wake up and wash my face with the scent of bananas and dream about breakfast! It did leave my skin moisturized. But to me, cleansers are cleansers-I usually don't rave about them much...But I do like Scinic products.
  4. Beauteque Exfoliating Brush (the tool product)- The tool product of this month bb bag came in pink-finally something pink. The white hairs on the brush are so fine and soft. It's really nice for sensitive skin, but to really clean pores-I beg to differ.
  5. Skinfood Avocado Lip Balm (the make-up product)- It was advertised as "style will vary" and I really wanted to try the SkinFood Rose Essence because it's winter and I wanted something moisturizing because of the word, "essence" and there is a bit of a pink tint to the rose version - Plus I really needed a lip balm so this was the only product I was looking forward to from this BB bag. The texture was a bit hard for the lips but it's a decent lip balm for the winter. I'm really happy about this product.
  6. Lador Sleeping Clinic Ampoule (the hair product) - behold the hair product!!! When I first saw the packaging, I thought it was a skincare product but then it say hair. I almost happily flipped my table. It's perfect for split ends. The ends of my hair which is usually dry and in need of moisture seems to really love this product. It also made my boring Asian hair a bit wavy when I woke up after having it in my hair the whole day. This entire "bottle" was done within 3 usages. I will buy more!
Overall, Great job Beauteque!
