Boxycharm December 2017 review

December box came!

The theme was Glitz and Glam.

I saw a few youtube vloogers unboxing and I wasn't happy with the products.

I can understand where every item in the box has something to do with "glitz" and "glam".

1. Real Her - Blush Kit - Time to throw out my blush from 2017 and I will use this in the beginning of 2018.
2. Crown Brush - Deluxe Blush Brush - Thank you boxycharm for sending me a blush brush. I have been on the hunt for a good one for the past month.
3. Pretty Vulgar - My Lips are sealed lightweight liquid lipstick - This pretty packaging will be something that I will use in my purse in spring 2018.
4. Tarte - Tariest Lash Paint Mascara - I already own two unopened boxes and this will be my third. I don't use mascara because it irritates my eye.
5. Beaute Basics - Bronze Essentials - I don't know how to use bronzers so I have always avoided them. I guess I can give this on away.

Whamisa is known for being waterless and substitutes the base with plant extract and aloe vera instead of water. It minimizes fine lines and firms eye area. It also brighten my eye area. It's perfect for sensitive skin. The amount in the bottle is huge. I haven't gotten milia since I've used this. A little goes a long way especially since the texture is so lightweight. I am never going back to eye creams. Eye essences are my thing from now on!

I was so scared that I would get the wrong shade because this happened with the Marc Jacobs Gel foundation, but luckily I found the right shade in Bisque Medium. It's creamy and right for my combination dry skin. It can transfer but make sure you use a setting spray. Using this "marvelous mousse with a brush made my makeup look flawless. I loved it during the autumn and winters during the drier temperatures. I've actually may love this more than the cushion foundations but I cannot completely move away from cushion foundations yet.

Neogen OCEAN FEEDING SERUM

I brought this on my trip while I was in Taiwan this past summer and just opened it now because I finished my previous serum. I had high expectations because it's "neogen". It claims that it has 100% kelp extract water, seaweed extract, bio marine RX complex of 6 plants.

However, I didn't get an "wow" factor. The pump is nice and the beads are interesting to look at.
It did help with dryness as much as any serum does, but there wasn't a "fresh" factor. It's consistency is gel-like with micro beads and I usually need about 2 pumps for my entire face.

Repurchase - NO.

goodal waterest first essence

I didn't have high expectations for this essence, but I'm glad that I used it during the autumn to winter seasons. This is a thicker consistency than the Korean counterparts. It's more of a serum texture than a toner feel. Anything with lotus flower fermented ingredients, my skin loves. It's very hydrating and absorbing. I feel this product is more than just an essence especially since my skin feels bouncing and plumped the morning after I wake up. My skin loves it and I will definitely repurchase.

I got this complimentary from L'oreal and Influenster to try out for my honest opinion. 
My hair is on the drier side and prone to split ends due to the winter season.
I applied it for the first time right after I washed my hair onto wet hair and then let it dry.
OMG, my hair felt so different.
A lot softer and healthy feeling.

The second time that I used it, I applied it before shampoo and didn't see much of a difference.
It's a bit hard to pump out the first time but once you get it out, the scent smells so nice!

Sweater Weather

1. CoverFX Illuminating Setting Spray - yes!! a setting spray. I just finished my Boscia and was looking for another one to try.
2. WinkyLux Kitten Palette - I couldn't wait so I opened it and tried a color before work. Love the blue.
3. Luxie Beauty - Quad Eye Travel Set - I'm happy that I will get to use new luxie brushes. 
4. Laqa&CO Cloud Lips - lippie!
5. KNC Beauty Collagen Lip Masks - one of the reasons that I left my other subscription boxes and subscribe to boxycharm was not to get any sheetmasks or lip masks. Disappointed.

I received this product complimentary from 0.8L and OrgaPlus in exchange for my honest opinion. I got this product for free from 0.8L and OrgaPlus in exchange for my honest opinion.
Best for dry parts of your face or body but I prefer to use it on my cracked areas at my feet.
This is too oily for my face.
It's about 98.99% natural using sunflower seed oil, sweet almond oil, orange peel oil and propolis.  I'm surprised that the cracks were gone for a very long time after application.
However, I can smell the sunflower scent when I use it. It doesn't bother me but for those who are sensitive to scents, beware.
