I wanted to try all the essence from the goodal line so I ended up purchasing this product also.
Not a favorite, not repurchasing.
Too thick for my dry skin and doesn't feel right.
Didn't see a change in my pores since using it.

I was looking forward in using this during the winter time.
I love the packaging, the scent and the pump but I wasn't impressed.

There is some type of glitter in the cream-did u notice that I used the word, "cream". It is thick but leaves my skin feeling a bit sticky.


Plus I started to get milia around my eyes.

I was expecting much from this body wash, but it's a nice spring/summer body wash.
However, I wouldn't repurchase this body wash.
It smells nice but isn't as foamy or soapy as a normal body wash would be.

goodal waterest first essence

I didn't have high expectations for this essence, but I'm glad that I used it during the autumn to winter seasons. This is a thicker consistency than the Korean counterparts. It's more of a serum texture than a toner feel. Anything with lotus flower fermented ingredients, my skin loves. It's very hydrating and absorbing. I feel this product is more than just an essence especially since my skin feels bouncing and plumped the morning after I wake up. My skin loves it and I will definitely repurchase. 

General Haul #47 - Club Clio Annual Summer Warehouse Sale

Clio Club (partnerships with brands of Peripera, Dr.G, Sooae, and Goodal) had their first annual summer warehouse sale happening in Union Square NYC from August 16 to August 31 2017. Run to the sale if you're in the area..

I went on the third day so I had low expectations but there was plenty of stuff that I wanted. I'm not a big makeup fan so I didn't see much makeup as compared to the skincare products that day in stock. They usually stock everyday based on the inventory. The price points were stuff that were 2 for $1, 3 for $5, 3 for $10 and $10. I mainly went for the 3 for $10 part. I didn't need any cushion or foundation and there was stacks of those. And I got a couple of my favorite eye liners (gelpresson).

General Haul #37 - JkNLee #5 Chinatown NYC

My wallet is still recovering from all these sample sales from this past summer.
Thankfully, I ended this summer on the unofficial last day of summer with another sample sale.
JKnLee was hosting a sample sale for 5-days from September 1-September 5 from 10am to 8pm in celebration of Labor Day weekend. I went on the first day to see if I can find anything interesting because I never was able to make it to the first day of the jknlee sales.

I think I was very good in my purchases this time around because I did purchase many  makeup things from the Union Square Clio sample sale 2 weeks ago. Plus the annual Peach and Lily skincare haul played a part in my limited purchases yesterday.

General Haul #35 - Club Clio Sample Sale at the Union Square NYC

Load and behold the first Korean sample sale that I brought my mom to!
She loved it!
She keep throwing stuff into my hand held shopping basket.
Club Clio is a Korean makeup cosmetics company that has really highly pigmented and quality products.
I have been using this brand for about a year and I will keep using it for a while.

Onto the sale, it was my first time visit to the union square location and it was pretty spacious if compare to the Brooklyn location.

I decided to go on the third day out of the four day sale to avoid the crowds.

But the skincare stuff were gone-it's ok, I will gladly wait for the Peach and Lily sale next week!

This current sale had a lot of makeup-mainly lipsticks and powders. Lipsticks were 3 for $10. I ended up getting three Lippies, one lip balm, 1 eye crayon and 1 eye shadow. I tried to get stuff that I don't owe as of now at home, especially the "art" line.

I think the foundations and powders were worth more because they were on sale for 3 for $20 but I have way too many foundation so my mom just picked a few. I'm surprised that they had shade 5-sand and shade 6-tan which are the darkest shade.

I was always more interested in the clear colored essence, but this was purchased at a sample sale in NYC this past January so I thought I would give it a try.

I do regret not using this in the winter time and waiting until summer time to use it.
It is a bit greasy as an essence for my combination skin during the summertime, so I have been using this as an emulsion and love it.

I think the white color creamy essence makes you think that there is a whitening effect--not really.

Goodal is the natural ingredients skincare portion of club clio.

Overpriced? No.
Moisturizing? Yes.
Gentle? yes
Suitable for sensitive and breakout prone skin? Yes.
Suitable for oily skin? - yes.
Day or night? Both

I love this gel cream over its phytoshine berry brightening emulsion counterpart. It has a weightless feel, absorbs quickly and I think Brazil Nut Seed Oil is my new favorite oil.  It's suppose to have anti-viral, anti-inflammatory and anti-baterical properties. I had extra dry and rashes near my eyes and applying this cream made my skin so soothing and comfortable. Besides the brazil seed nut oil, it also has a blend of murumuru seed butter, capuacu butter, mourera fluviatilis and fluxhydran. It has a cooling effect when touch onto the skin and best for my combination sensitive skin.

Definitely a re-purchase. Thankfully I brought three :)

General Haul #23 - JKnLee #3

I didn't shop here on the Grand Opening on Friday (2/26/2016), but I went on the second day.

The store layout looks like a regular USA Club Clio with brands ranging from Club Clio, goodal, Dr.G, Soo Ae, peripera. Masks from last weekend were in a corner of the store. They were have a Buy one get one free (BOGO) sale. The Club Clio in Union Square was having the same sale celebrating their 1-year anniversary at Union Square. I passed by the Union Square location, but didn't get a chance to go in. Onto the JKnLee BOGO sale at 2 East Broadway in Chinatown, there were orange and white balloons at the entrance. 

The stuff from Dr.G brand are photographed below and the prices are written behind the product: 

       I didn't need any skincare products because I am still working my way through the skincare products I brought in Korea and Taiwan this past winter.

I didn't take pics of the goodal or club clio make-up stuff because I seen them in my previous visits. But they did have mist and other new stuff. Plus, I brought some Clio sun cream/sunscreen ($30) because summer is around the corner.

Here are some masks that I didn't see last week.
  

I know from previous purchases from Korea that the Donkey Milk is not good for my sensitive skin so I didn't purchased that. I got the SooAe instead. The green box (green tea) and red box (snail) were $20 each and the black box (charcoal flower) was $25 each. I went home to try one of the mask and they feel nice and hydrating. I have tried the green tea and snail sheet masks before so I decided to buy the black box. The SooAe brand has 5 sheets. They also had some single SooAe sheet masks near the entrance and I brought 4 out of the bunch-I think there were 10 altogether.
