Cherry Blossom Cleanser

This is a soothing foam cleanser.
I do like the scent.

This claims to have a toning "feeling" after use.
My face does feel tighten after the use but don't most cleanser make your skin feel dry cause you sort of strip your face of moisture when you wash your face.
Just a mediocre foam cleanser for me.
It is not moisturizing at all.

This is the perfect glow for the summer which you can wear sunglasses and not have to worry about having sunglasses marks on your nose. But if you want coverage, this has none. The highlight on the top of the cap is great! I always use my fingers to apply instead of a brush because the texture is so thin and creamy.

More like my most hated bag!

1. It Cosmetics - SuperHero Elastic Stretch Volumizing Mascara - I have it and I no longer use mascaras anymore after my eyes would get teary after the usage of mascara.
2. PeterThomasRoth - Cucumber Gel Mask - I don't like this brand at all. The gel mask is just too thin for a mask for me.
3. Clinique - Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm in Woppin Watermelon - on the sale page and I hated it. It's just a lip balm with hardly as tint of color that I returned when purchased.
4. Ren - Evercalm Global Protection Day Cream - already have it and great for an day cream but how many day creams can you feature in a subscription box every month? I need something new.
5. Madame CJ Walker Beauty Culture - Dream Come True Wonderful Deep Conditionig Masque - I never care much about hair mask and they are piling in a box in my room which I give to friends when they come over.
6. Mon Guerlain - ok scent

This bag was a disappointment. This is the second box which nothing is new and I've used all the products featured in this box. Some of them I've seen on the "sale" page website on Sephora. This is horrible. I just gave the entire bag away to a friend over this weekend. What a waste of money. I though subscription boxes are suppose to introduce you to new products but these are all re-runs that I've seen so many times. Let's see how next month's play box is otherwise three strikes and you're cancelled!

General Haul #46 - Taiwan Summer Trip

I had made an unplanned trip over to Taiwan this summer and only had a day or two to myself for some quick shopping. I got most of my purchases from Cosmed and the Neogen stuff at 86小舖 86 Shop. The first pic was a quick pic in Taiwan right after my purchases so the lighting wasn't the best.

I will do reviews as I slowly use the products. Stay updated!

Below are the stuff that I got for my friend.
I've noticed that this summer, most of the brands had a Disney theme or collaboration.

DAENG GI MEO RI – Jinyoon Shampoo

DAENG GI MEO RI – Jinyoon Shampoo

Light floral scent.
Emulsifies very well with hair and water.
This shampoo is best for dry damaged hair where I kinda of have. The texture is clear and soft.
And the pump is a great plus!

beigechuu water base

I love this!
The packaging is in a tube-like squeeze tube which is best for hygiene purposes, especially in the warming temperatures when you want to limit the growth of bacteria.
This is an emulsion-like tinted moisturizer but in dewy form (hence the name "water-base".
It come out milky, but as you rub it, it absorbs into your skin.
This is best for summer when I feel like all my makeup melts off.
There is SPF 30 and it brightens your overall complexion.

Short Summer Skincare routine in Taiwan 2017

I was on a week mini-trip in Taiwan this past month and it was hot!
It was 95F and sunny every single day in Kaohsiung.

I brought over 20 travel sized products over to this trip and only end up using 5.
It was so hot that my skin had enough moisture and was well-hydrated.
It was probably due to the fact that I drank alot of water and teas while there.

My skin was used to the dry weather conditions when residing in the northeastern part of the US. It is part of the temperate and deciduous forest biome where I  get harsh cold winters and hot humid summers. It's a nasty combination to the skin.
