DR. BARBARA STURM Brightening Face Lotion

This product is a light emulsion-like cream. I use this during the summertime and it had just the right amount of moisture for my skin. The one problem I have is the cheap packaging for the inside tube--it just felt off. For the amount you paid for this product, I expected airtight packaging. After a couple months of using this product, I noticed that if I touch my face a bit and rub it, I see piling. Definitely not worth the price after this experience.

I cannot believe I survived the entire summer 2020 without using an essence. The second I opened this and used the first pump, my skin felt HEAVEN! The water molecules in this gel-like texture essence just absorbed into my skin. I felt moisturized and hydrated!!!!! My dry skin feels so much different with this product especially nowadays where we all have to wear a mask.

I got this as a deluxe sample from Sephora.
I like it as a morning cleanse once in a while.
Love the pump, super light and great for sensitive skin.

I was so nervous to use this so I waited about 6 months after purchase because I was currently using another product. I regretted waiting. This product is made for oily skin, but my dry skin loved it during the summer time. My skin looked matte but felt hydrated. No pilling and face felt moisturized the entire day. 

M·A·C Studio Face and Body Foundation 120 ml in N2

I get why everyone raves about MAC products. I do love their lip gloss, blush and fix+, but I do not like this Face and Body foundation. I decided to use this during the summer time because it is hot and humid and this liquid texture, which is light coverage, is nice to work with. It dries down fast so you have to work fast. But it sinks and racks into fine lines after 5 hours. Every time I remove my surgical mask at the end of my shift, I see it--errrr. Maybe because of covid, we have to wear face  mask so maybe this product works better when exposed to the air instead of underneath a face mask. I do like the finish when I apply it, just overall, mixed feelings. Who knows, maybe it works better on the body on exposed skin.
