The texture is a bit oily or slimy for me because I'm used to the more watery textures from some Korean brands. I believe the slimy can be the ingredients are Bifida Ferment Lysate and Lactobacillus Ferment which is suppose to help repair the skin barrier. In my opinion, I believe this essence is best for winter time.
Whatever the texture is, it must be doing a good job because my skin absorbs it quick and loves it. I don't have any weird breakouts or itchiness. No fragrances or scents so my sensitive skin approves. My other complaint but can easily be overlooked is the flimsy plastic material of the cap.
