Thoughts: June 2025

I went from an easy, hurried, low-maintenance facial cleaning ritual to trying out the Asian 10 step skincare routine. Being raised in New York City has damaged and polluted my skin; I'm now repairing and focusing on anti-aging.
I want to buy and use products from a broad number of brands, I didn't just want to stick with one brand, I shopped around and compared all. I will try to write reviews each month, one which will be a list my skincare routine products, sharing my experiences on each product.

Krave Beauty Beet the sun sunscreen

I wish I knew about this sooner to use in the summertime. This lightweight moisturizer sunscreen makes me forget that I applied sunscreen. The only downfall is that I noticed my skin is a bit oily after a couple hours.

gokujyun premium serum vitamin c

I couldn't find many reviews on the serum when I purchased this product in Taiwan last summer, but it doesn't hurt to try it because nothing disappoints me from this brand. I was a bit nervous to try it in the morning after my AM skincare routine, so I picked a day that I was off from work to experiment with it. I didn't experience any tinkling or breakouts. I actually liked this product. My skin absorbed it quite fast, and it didn't feel sticky on a humid 90F weather. I know there was some hyaluronic acid in this product, so my face felt quite moisturized.
